Northview Family Worship Center

Jesus is alive—even on Monday morning. Sunday services are an important gathering of our church family, but NFWC happens seven days a week in community groups, classes, ministries and events as well as workplaces, families, online, and in individual lives throughout the region.
Beyond Sunday services, NFWC Church follows the biblical model of getting together during the week in Community Groups and Table Groups to live lives together in the shared mission God has given us and all are welcome. Follow the links and find a Community Group or Table Group that fits you.
We also offer midweek classes and related events for children, students, and adults to mature in the faith and better serve one another.

Community Groups
"doing life deeply with one another as we serve together"
We feel that the first century church set the example of how we are to walk out this thing we call Christianity. They would go from house to house sharing their stories about what Jesus had done in their lives. They would eat with one another, share life together and if someone was in need they would make sure that the need would get taken care of. That is all part of "doing life deeply with one another as we serve together"

Other Ministries

Children age 6 through 6th grade

A team of volunteer lead a great ministry for our kids.

Wednesday Nights Led by Kristi and Wendy and their team. Each week is an adventure as students move through learning and activity stations in the Science Center, Story Center, Space Room and 50's Diner. These creative classes involve group participation and illustrations with creative teaching. Wednesday nights are also practice times for our Kids Drama Team. This unique team ministers in our church and is and taking their ministry to other churches.

Sunday Xtreme Kids Children’s Church Led by Mike Joelson and his team. Sunday mornings involves a worship time in our gym with a modern stage, sound, media, and lighting system.  Teaching, singing, illustrations, drama, video, all play a part in this service. This is a fun time with relative teaching for our kids.

 (Nursery offered for all services)

Youth 12-18

Refuge is about Relevance. On Wednesday nights we focus on providing music and messages that are relevant to our students without diluting the gospel. Refuge is proof that we can relate to students without compromising biblical integrity.

Refuge is about Relationships. Here at refuge we care about the student. Race, color, and creed, are inconsequential. Through Pod Nights and other events, we work hard to provide a safe place for students to make lasting and meaningful friendships that are God-centered.  link to Refuge youth web site

Men
bar

"Point Man" Leader Ken Johnson. The Bible says, “As iron sharpens iron so one man sharpens another.”  Throughout the year our men’s ministry has a number of events and ministries that focus on encouraging men to be strong and compassionate men of God helping one another, encouraging one another, worshiping together, mentoring, and just having fun sharing life together.  Point Men ministry includes things such as our men’s winter retreat, sportsmen’s banquet, spring fishing outing, summer men and boys retreat, bible studies, ministry/missions projects, softball, and more.

Women
Women in Ministry

We encourage women of all ages to engage in the incredible joy of discovering who they are in Christ.   A life lived well and with passion is not only possible; it is truly ours as we live life intimately with Him.  Our desire is that women become fully committed to knowing Christ, maturing in Christ, serving Christ and sharing Christ.

Seniors Ministries

Ministry to our Seniors--

J.O.Y. ministries, Just Older Youth, for ages 50 and older. Senior's are a vital part of our church community, coming alongside nearly and thing happening at NFWC to contribute, prayerfully, financially, and much of the time physically. We enjoy a wide variety of activities including local outing, trips, our annual dinner theatre, game nights, pot lucks, and the list goes on and on.

Food Bank
bar

Freedom Resource Center of Idaho--Director Delmer Blades. Find us at www.idahoresourcecenter.org We now feed over 2500 people a month. Freedom Resource Center of Idaho is a place to receive food and so much more. As a non-profit organization, we rely on donations and support from various businesses, of which 100% goes directly back into the community. We realize that we are unable to meet every need that is presented to us, however as a Resource Center we can direct people to the proper places to receive the help they need. Our goal is to never turn a need away.

Worship
bar

Worship plays a powerful role in our Church as a whole and in our personal lives as well.  Our worship team consists of musicians and vocalists whose main focus is to glorify God with the talents that He has given them.  We welcome like-minded, talented musicians to audition to join our team.  Contact Pastor Wayne if you are interested.

Bus Ministry
The Bus Ministry picks up shut-ins and those in rest homes. This wonderful ministry is a great blessing to the community. Our team goes out every week and picks up those who otherwise might not be able to come to church.

Media Team

The Media team at Northview provides a way for those unable to attend our services, to see what God is doing at our church.  We record our services and send out DVD’s to shut-ins and soldiers overseas.  This ministry provides opportunity to send God’s word out to those who may not regularly come to church.  Our services are also broadcast on public access TV channel 11.  Contact Russell Colbert if you are interested in this ministry.

Missions
We strongly believe in Jesus’ Great Commission to “go into all the world and preach the gospel.”  At NFWC we place a strong emphasis on giving financially above our tithe to missions and also serving in missions.  As a church we support missionaries around the world and take teams on missions trips (MAPS) to various countries.  Our missions wall in our foyer shows the numerous missionaries and projects we support on a monthly basis.  Each January we hold our own Missions Convention with special guests to promote missions at NFWC.
