Community

Community
groups
are all about investing in relationships.
Starting with the very first contact (welcome).
Then to help others to get to know us
(introductory groups). Moving into our home with
us (community group). Then taking it full circle
as we reach back out to others around us
(community in out-reach). It is
in these relationships that we can grow as
believers. Groups take on all kinds of shapes
and sizes. This core value involves activities
such as: Small groups, table groups, greeters,
ushers, care team, information center, special
interest/hobby groups, sports ministry,
corporate worship, pastoral care, hospital
visitation, funerals, weddings, retreats,
outings, church picnics/fellowships, etc.
Vision: "to see 100% participation in community"
Purpose:
"doing life deeply with one another as we serve
together"
Goals:
Healthy groups building relationships
Healthy groups reproducing themselves
Healthy groups giving out and reaching out
"Day after
day, in the temple courts and from house to
house, they never stopped teaching and
proclaiming the good news that Jesus is the
Christ." Acts 5:42 |
